Steps for BESS Project Operation

Step 1

In business communication, the demander shall introduce the project, specifying the core requirements of the project as well as the overall requirements regarding time and cost. The supplier shall propose preliminary framework design suggestions and a general timeline arrangement based on the demander’s overall requirements.

Step 2

Both parties shall conduct a brief online meeting for communication, with a focus on technical clarification. After the meeting, the supplier shall submit a written document specifying the data and reports required for the design, which mainly include:

Geotechnical Investigation Report: Covering the soil layer distribution at the project site, physical and mechanical properties of the soil, groundwater level conditions, etc.

Pile Layout Plan: Providing a plan of the pile foundation layout, indicating the pile distribution, pile spacing, pile type, and the relationship with the superstructure.

Single Pile Design Requirements: Specifying the internal forces that each pile must bear, including vertical bearing capacity (pressure resistance), uplift resistance, and horizontal load.

Dimensions of the Container Structure: Including the dimensions of the bottom beams at the base of the container structure.

Design Service Life: Specifying the design service life of the pile foundation.

Step 3

The supplier’s technical team shall analyze and study the provided materials and propose a preliminary design scheme. The demander shall arrange a bearing capacity test to verify the compliance of the design scheme, so as to enable the supplier to further optimize the design scheme.

Step 4

Confirm the design scheme, sign a contract between both parties, and proceed to the implementation phase.

Step 5

The demander shall prepare all work required for the implementation plan, including the preparation of equipment, personnel, etc. After the goods arrive, installation shall be carried out in a timely manner.

Step 6

After the equipment installation is completed, conduct commissioning and trial operation. Upon passing the inspection, the security deposit shall be settled in full.
