Structured Screw Pile China Ltd. understands that uniform, high-quality helices are critical for an efficient conveyor and other equipment. Poorly formed screw conveyor blades where the internal edge is not parallel to the shaft can cause variability in pitch, which can result in different feed rates over the length of the conveyor, causing inefficiency. If the auger pitch is not consistent, the rate of flow of material under different pitch sections vary and material start squeezing up in smaller pitch sections, generating uneven load points and building enormous pressure on forward blades.
Clearance between the flight and inside diameter of casing is also critical when using different commodities. Uniformity of clearance can be achieved with the combination of our blank cut design program and helix flight forming machine up to the precision of +/- 2mm.
One of the great advantages of true-form helices is that the angle between the screw shaft and the helix always remains perpendicular, which creates uniform welding joints throughout the auger length. Our machine allows us total flexibility in the design of pitch, size, notches, legs, tapers, and left or right flights. Square internal diameters or square perimeters have the capacity to handle outside diameters of 200mm to 1350mm in a plate up to 32mm.
Our high-quality manufacturing process makes it possible for the flush fit across helix flight joints and “clicking tight” of helix flights to shafts. Our helices have uniform true form and consistent pitch angle which benefit the client from less wear points or unnecessary damage to the face of the helix, as well as less wear on motor drives and bearings used in the conveyor.
